AN UPTON mum has secured her place at the prestigious final of Ms Galaxy UK 2020.

Stacey Goodacre was crowned Ms Wirral Galaxy 2019/20 and will now represent the borough in the Ms Galaxy UK finals in March at the Park Hall Hotel in Lancashire.

She told the Globe: "I am so excited to have made it to the final, it is a great achievement and I cannot wait to meet all of the other amazing girls.

"During my reign I will be fundraising for The Christie Cancer Charity, keep your diaries free Valentine's day as I have some fabulous plans underway for a special Valentine's fundraiser!

"I'd love to be able to give back to my local area and help others as much as I can, volunteering is something I can not wait to get stuck in with."

If crowned Ms Galaxy UK, the 29-year-old will then travel to the USA to compete in the Ms Galaxy International final which will be held in summer 2020.

Wirral has seen plenty of success in the Galaxy pageants with Wallasey's Beth Greenham crowned Ms Galaxy International in 2018 after nearly quitting the industry.

Stacey added: "The international final is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will be a truly amazing experience and an absolute dream.

"The UK has enjoyed some amazing success at the Galaxy International Pageant with them winning an international crown nine times and had placements in every division for the past 4 years."
