THE hospital trust in charge of the John Radcliffe has appointed a new member to its board of directors to focus on staff.
Terry Roberts will take over the role of Chief People Officer at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) in February, taking over from Jane Nicholson.
He is currently Director of People and Organisational Development at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Roberts also spent a year on secondment at the Department of Health as a National HR Advisor.

As Chief People Officer at OUH, Mr Roberts will have Board level responsibility for areas including workforce, organisational development, communications, staff engagement, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, culture and leadership.
Dr Bruno Holthof, Chief Executive Officer at the trust said he was 'delighted' to welcome Mr Roberts, adding: "I am sure that he will drive forward the people agenda at OUH with a strong focus on recruiting and retaining the best staff to provide high quality care for our patients."
Mr Roberts said: "I am passionate about working with all our people across OUH to have a positive impact on patient care and staff experience."
