OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

MAQADUS ZIA, 21, of Howard Road, Banbury, admitted driving in a public place without due care and attention on January 22 at Ferndale Road, Banbury. He was fined £590 and must pay a victim surcharge of £59 and court costs of £160 and he was disqualified from driving for three months.

TONY PATRICK HOLT, 32, of Howard Street, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man occasioning actual bodily harm on October 13 at Faulkner Street, Oxford as well as assaulting a police officer, as well as assaulting a woman on October 12 and causing criminal damage to a gate, communal door and a double glazed window at Bullingdon Road, Oxford on September 1. He was jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include alcohol treatment requirement for nine months, participation in the Building Better Relationships programme and 15 days rehabilitation activity requirement. He must also pay compensation totalling £200, a victim surcharge of £122 and court costs of £85.

Mark RICHARD INGRAM, 33, of Wey Road, Berinsfield, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on April 11 at Withington Court, Abingdon. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SANDRA BARWICK, 62, of White House Road, Oxford, breached a criminal behaviour order by phoning the emergency services without having a genuine emergency which she was prohibited from doing on October 16 in Oxford as well as breaching a previously imposed community order. She was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include alcohol treatment requirement for 12 months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days. She must also pay compensation of £350.

SEAN IAN DENTON, 39, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a pedal cycle to a value unknown on July 30 in Oxford as well as failing to surrender to custody on September 17. He was jailed for 20 weeks and must pay compensation of £50.

GREGORY BRYAN BRACEY, 40, of no fixed abode, admitted causing criminal damage to a window to the value of £100 on October 17 at The Old Court Hotel, Witney. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50.

ABDUL REHMAN BANARAS, 33, of Rectory Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a CCTV camera to a value unknown in Oxford on October 18 as well as carrying out an offence during the period of a suspended sentence. He was jailed for 14 days and must pay compensation of £100.

Michael MURPHY, 24, of Wadards Meadow, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on October 20 in Witney as well as using a vehicle without third party insurance. Had 81 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined a total of £240 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

DAVID OKAI, 43, of Dunsomer Hill, Didcot, admitted driving while disqualified as well as driving without third party insurance on August 10 in Abingdon. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £276 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.

BETHAN LOUISE YOUNG, 24, of Minchery Farm Cottages, Littlemore, admitted stealing £211-worth of goods from Superdrug at the Square, Oxford on September 16. She also admitted stealing goods from the same shop worth £588.58 on September 19.She was conditionally discharged for six months and ordered to pay compensation totalling £799.58.

AYRTON DOS SANTOS, 28, of Bodley Place, Oxford, admitted drink driving on October 5 at St Giles. He was found to have 65 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100ml of breath. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months.

WERONIKA WOJT, 33, of Waylands Road, Oxford admitted assault by beating of a police officer on August 19. She was fined £307 and ordered to pay compensation of £100. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

ANITA HAYDEN, 30, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, was convicted of criminal damage to the front door of a house worth £75 on June 27. She was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £150.

ABDUL GHAFOOR, 58, of Grimsby Square, Banbury, admitted making a false statement on April 29. He was fined £400 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £800.

TEMIDAYO OLAMIDE TEMITOPE FUMUYIMA, 37, of Sir Henry Jake Close, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a train between Banbury and Marylebone station on June 3 without having paid a fare. He was also convicted of leaving a station without passing through a ticket barrier in the correct manner on the same date, as well as for not paying a fare on June 10 and not passing through a barrier correctly on the same date. He was fined a total of £880 and ordered to pay £80 compensation, as well as a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £100.

CHRISTOPHER ELTON COLLINS, 24, of Red Bridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing items worth £65 from Wickes on Botley Road on September 22. He also admitted assault by beating of a police officer on the same date. He was fined a total of £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

NATHAN WILKINS, 29, of Chetwode, Banbury, admitted to drug driving on June 3 on Daventry Road, Banbury. He had a proportion of Benzoylecgonine in his blood, a chemical component of cocaine, in his blood. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

ANDREW PETER ROBINSON, 50, of Eastern Avenue, Oxford, admitted common assault at Bonn Square on September 19. He also admitted damaging the floor and walls of a cell at Abingdon Police Station on the same date. He was ordered to pay compensation totalling £153.

SHOFIK TOWNSEND, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted burglary of a garage on Oxford Road, Littlemore on August 31. He stole an electric cycle, a bicycle, power tools and garden tools. He also admitted failing to comply with a legal order between October 6 and 21. He was committed to prison for 28 weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £1,731.
