PUPILS and staff at a school in Abingdon have cooked up a gingerbread-themed Christmas grotto.
The festive design was the idea of office staff and pupils at the school in Faringdon Road.
Events admin assistant Rebecca Upright is one of the staff involved.
She said: “The office staff at Larkmead School are turning - for the first time - the student services reception into a Gingerbread House.”

The creation of the grotto is part of the school’s countdown to December 25.
A Larkmead Christmas celebration will be held in the school hall on Tuesday, December, 17 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £3, £2.50 concessions and are available on the door.
On the night there will be music, dance and drama. For further information visit the page on the school website larkmead-school.com/larkmead-christmas-celebration
