BURGLARS are targeting high-value gold jewellery in Oxfordshire, Thames Valley Police have warned.
They say the gold is being melted down for cash or sold on.
Police are urging residents to keep their high-value jewellery in a bank safety deposit box instead of at home.

If residents insist on keeping their jewellery at home they are being urged to keep it in a home safe and make sure it is properly insured, and covered by home insurance.
Residents are also being reminded not to leave their jewellery on display.
