A POLICE chase ensued in an Oxfordshire village after a wanted man jumped from a window in a bid to escape officers.
The pursuit happened in Lower Heyford near Bicester last night, after police visited a man who had failed to turn up to a court appearance.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest following the failure to appear.

In a Facebook post on the TVP Cherwell page today, officers said: "A 34-year-old male was arrested after jumping out of a window.
"[He was] chased by Bicester problem solving team and a police dog, as he failed to appear in court and a warrant had been issued for is arrest.
"The very sound of the dog's bark was enough to stop him in his tracks."
