WHILE the rain is causing havoc on the county's roads today it was so cold this morning in parts of Oxforshire that it first fell as snow.
Oxford Mail Camera Club member Bryan Robertson shared a snap of the white flurries on a road in West Oxfordshire.

He wrote: "Didn't expect this on our drive around Leafield and the edge of Wychwood Forest this morning at 6.30am. First snow of the year."
Mr Robertson added another image of snow on top of a pile of wood, saying: "Judging by the snow on the top of the logs there must have been at least an inch before the snow turned to rain.
"Both pics taken on the phone through the windscreen between windscreen wipes, I believe Chipping Norton got some too."
