Crews from Bicester Fire Station were supported by specialist rescue crews from Kidlington and Rewley Road in Oxford to rescue the injured man.

The injured worker had a suspected broken leg and was removed from the scaffolding carefully into the cage of the Fire and Rescue Service's aerial platform to be brought down to ground level.

The casualty went to hospital by ambulance and is now in the care of South Central Ambulance Service where the injured worker is receiving medical treatment.

Fire and Rescue left the scene at about 3pm.
