MORE parking bays and double-yellow lines could be installed in a Blackbird Leys road.

Oxfordshire County Council has launched consultation on plans to 'address a shortage of parking facilities in Samphire Road'.

The residential cul-de-sac already has a parking area, but the council has proposed creating more laybys and off-road spaces.

It also plans to paint double-yellow lines along the length of the road, to ‘protect the new parking facilities, ensuring traffic is unimpeded along its length.'

The council also proposes relocating an unused disabled parking bay.
