There will be niche independent companies, larger well know organisations as well as local independent businesses, setting up stalls with the market's aim of making veganism accessible and inclusive to everyone.

It will feature food stalls, vegan lifestyle brands, ethical clothing stands, charities and more.

One of the businesses coming is Avanti Candles which sells luxury reed diffusers and soy wax candles, crafted with oils and wooden wick all handmade in Leicestershire.

Lewis Beresford, VMUK’s founder and managing director says: “We are so excited to bring our vegan market back to Oxford. We work across the UK with leading vegan brands from a number of industries; from food and sweet treats, to clothing and beauty goods.

“We are also working with many local traders at  the market and can’t wait to give them the platform they deserve to showcase  all their goods.”

VMUK started in 2016 as a single market in Cambridge and has quickly grown to now holding more than 20 vegan markets annually across the UK.

Other cities and towns that it has been to include London, Birmingham, Leeds, Maidstone and High Wycombe.

Oxford’s market will be held in the Town Hall on November 3, and is open to the public from 10:30am.

Tickets will be available on the door to purchase only through card payment and cost £2 for adults and entry is free for children.

The team expect the venue to get busy during the middle of the day and encourage people to go early.
