THREE theatre-loving friends have joined forces to stage their own production of Pinocchio in Oxford.
Alice Evans, a drama teacher and young mum from Witney, florist Jacqui Lewis and Ally seamstress Baker have come together to write, design, costume and direct their adaptation of Pinocchio for audiences aged 10 and up.
They are staging the play as an Oxford Theatre Guild production at the Old Fire Station on George Street from November 4-9.
Describing the show they said: “A far cry from the Disney film – a cast of colourful characters, actors, original music all come together for a funny, poignant and slightly scary production.”
