HUNDREDS of people have flooded social media using the hashtag #RIPPCHarper.
The hashtag is being used by people who want to pay their respect to PC Andrew Harper – who was killed in the line of duty in August.
Others have used the hashtag on Twitter as an opportunity to thank the force for the work they do in keeping people safe.

One police officer, PC Andy Moore, wrote: "What a wonderful send off for our brother and grateful to all the public who showed their respect. #RIPPCHarper."
Andy Roebuck, who is the chair of Avon and Somerset (AS) Police Federation, also used the hashtag.
He said: "AS officers were in attendance. 'Friendly', 'brave', 'professional', 'caring', 'loving', 'son', 'brother', 'husband'. Just a few words to describe a truly exceptional police officer. Will be missed. #PoliceFamily #RIPPCHarper"

Another member of the public said: "I've been thinking of the service all day. I didn't know him, I don't know the family, I'm not in the police, I just can't imagine going to work and doing these things and not going home to my family. Thank you for keeping us safe so we don't have to experience this."
