HEAVY rain could bring flooding to parts of Oxfordshire today, the Met Office has warned.

The Met Office has a yellow weather warning for rain in place for Monday, October 14, between noon and midnight.

Sunday's half marathon runners saw some heavy rain as they set off, and some streetside areas were flooded by large puddles, but today's weather has prompted a warning.

The yellow weather warning means there will be heavy rain leading to a small chance of flooding and disruption.

There is a small chance homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.

Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.

Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
