OXFORD MP Laylan Moran appeared on popular BBC comedy panel show Have I Got News For You last night for the start of its latest series.
From Boris Johnson's relationship with Jennifer Arcuri and Extinction Rebellion's London protests to a pack of beef shaped like Putin's face there there was plenty to talk about.
She joined team captain Ian Hislop (who the Lib Dem MP at one point suggested should become Prime Minister), against comedians Sara Pascoe and team captain Paul Merton, with actor Martin Clunes as the guest host.
What a lovely person Martin Clunes is. For the record I’ve asked that the ‘fee’ (that I wasn’t expecting) from the show is given directly to @OxfordshireMind (we filmed on #MentalHealthAwarenessDay2019) and The Gatehouse, Oxford charity for the homeless pic.twitter.com/OtqKqYa5Wo

As always there were plenty of mockery to go around, with the Lib Dems described as the webuyanycar of politics thanks to their influx of new MPs due to defectors from Labour and the Conservatives.
Ms Moran, who represents Oxford West and Abingdon, later tweeted that her fee had been donated to Oxfordshire Mind, with the filiming of the show on World Mental Health Day, and Oxford homeless charity The Gatehouse.
