KIDLINGTON funeral director Carl Boswell has been named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Funeral Planner of the Year Awards.
Hosted last month by broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, the awards ceremony took place in central London.
Carl Boswell, owner of CS Boswell Independent Funeral Services, said: "I am extremely proud, yet humble to receive this award.

"I wish to thank all my team of staff who assist my in the running of our two funeral homes. Also, to the families we serve and entrusting their loved ones into our care, in their time of need.
"We only strive to better our services as we continue to serve the community of Oxfordshire and beyond.”
