A MAN who might have 'important information' about a purse theft has now been identified.

Police are no longer seeking calls about a man pictured in a CCTV appeal yesterday, in relation to a purse theft in Berinsfield.

In an update this morning, officers said their appeal has ended after the man's identity was confirmed.
