POLICE closed a rural Oxfordshire road for several hours following a crash this afternoon.
Hanney Road in Steventon was closed both ways between Abingdon Road and Steventon Road.
Police were on the scene when the Oxford Mail passed the scene just before 5.30pm, but readers report that the collision happened closer to 4pm.
The road was still coned off at 8.30pm but it is thought the closure has now been lifted.

The police helicopter was seen in the area and it is thought the ambulance service also attended.
A post on the Spotted: Steventon and Drayton Facebook page reported that four people had been injured in the collision, but emergency services have not yet confirmed this.
