POLICE are hunting for the armed robber who pulled out a knife in a shop before stealing money from the till.

On Monday evening, between 8.45pm and 8.55pm, a man walked into East West Provisions on Woodstock Road armed with a weapon.

He demanded money from the two people in the shop, before making an escape for freedom on a bicycle.

The bike is described as light coloured, with bold black writing on it.

Thames Valley Police are now appealing for anybody with dash-cam footage of nearby the shop.

Investigating officer detective inspector James Senior of Force CID based at Oxford, said: “I am releasing this image as I believe that the man pictured may have important information that can assist my investigation.

“I am also appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident to make contact with police.

“If anybody was driving in Woodstock Road at around the time of the incident and has dash-cam, I would urge you to please check this and call police if it has captured anything that would assist our investigation.

“The two victims were thankfully not injured during this incident, but this is a serious offence and we are keen to hear from anybody who has any information.
