Cllr Phyl Davies, Cabinet Member for Waste and Recycling, said: “We are proud of our recycling record and the efforts of our residents in recycling as much as they can.

“However, we know that we can do better and Recycle Weeks gives an opportunity to show how many materials can be recycled instead of going into landfill.

“I would urge residents to pop along to one of our roadshows and speak to our waste awareness officers face-to-face and get handy tips and advice on how to boost their recycling efforts.”
