PUPILS at a Witney primary school received a special visit from the town's mayor to open their new play equipment.
Witney mayor, Duncan Enright, last week visited Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, where a 'trim trail' was installed over the summer.
The trail consists of a path or course with outdoor exercise equipment or obstacles and is designed to promote health and wellbeing.

Also present was Charlie Fisher, trustee of The Andrew Fisher Foundation, which promotes healthy recreation for the public and donated £2,000 towards the cost of the trim trail.
Children have been using the new equipment since the beginning of term.
