A PLANNED review of the Oxfordshire Growth Board will be completed by January 2020, it has been announced.
That the review would be undertaken was first announced in June.
Work on it will start in a few weeks’ time.
The board’s director Bev Hindle concedes in papers that the its role is ‘not well understood’. Any review should be ‘fundamental’ and outline how it might change in the future, he said.
All Oxfordshire’s councils’ leaders have a vote on the board. Other representatives include staff from both Oxford’s universities.
