THE A34 was closed yesterday afternoon after a crash between two vehicles.

Both lanes were shut between the Milton and Marcham interchanges following the crash, with drivers hit by long delays.

Following a serious road traffic collision the A34 near Milton, one lane has reopened on the northbound carriageway but expect long delays.

Emergency services were reported to be at the scene, with South Central Ambulance Service contacted for comment.

Diversion: Take A4130 to Rowstock from Milton Interchange.
Join the A417 and continue to Wantage then take A338 towards the A420. Follow A420 to rejoin A34 at Botley Interchange.
