OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

COLIN WILLIAMS, 30, of Oxford Road, Kidlington, admitted possession of a quantity of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis on March 17 in Oxford. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

ALISHA HELEN BROWN, 24, of High Street, Adderbury, admitted taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent as well as driving without a licence and without insurance at Oxford Road, Kidlington on June 17 as well as resisting a constable and possession of a quantity of heroin. She was made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for six months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 10 days. She must also pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £85, court costs of £85 and she was disqualified from driving for six months.

PHILIP JOHN KNOWLES, 55, of no fixed abode, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order by causing a member of the public alarm, harassment and distress in Abingdon on July 10. He was fined £200.

Christopher Mark DEBANKS, 33, of Furlong Close, Oxford, admitted stealing T shirts to the value of £184 from Next, Oxford, on July 12 as well as stealing Lynx toiletries to the value of £85 from Wilkinsons, The Square, Oxford, on July 17. He was jailed for 14 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £122.

SEAN DENTON, 39, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed after release from prison by failing to attend and keep in touch with a responsible officer. He was jailed for seven days.

Wayne JONES, 34, of Druce Way, Oxford, admitted driving above the legal drug limit for Ketamine on March 19 at Watlington Road, Oxford, and driving without a licence and without insurance and possession of cocaine. He was fined a total of £240 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for three years.

JOHN MUNDY, 53, of no fixed abode, admitted racially aggravated use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on August 8. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £21.

YVONNE GRACE SABEY, 83, of Ipsden Court, Cholsey, admitted speeding by driving 50 mph in a 30 mph area at Shirburn Road, Watlington, on November 21. She was fined £196 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

FREDERICK WILLIAM TOWNSEND, 63, of Thorney Leys, Witney, was convicted of speeding by driving 37 mph in a 30 mph area at Ducklington Lane, Witney, on December 5. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JAMIE EDWARD CUMMINS, 21, of Preachers Lane, Oxford, was convicted of speeding by driving 89 mph in a 50 mph area at the Eastern Bypass Road, Oxford, on November 27. He was fined £370 and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 14 days.

JAMES DUFFY, 33, of Longore, Stonesfield, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on April 12 in Carterton. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and £85 court costs. Driving licence endorsed with six penalty points.

JASON CLARKE, 31, of Ferlong Road in Clanfield, Oxfordshire, admitted attending an address from which he was prohibited to do so on August 8 in Carterton. Fined £583 and ordered to pay £58 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs.

ELIZABETH BARR, 51, of Vanbrugh Close in Woodstock, admitted theft in a dwelling after stealing £20 in Bladon, and £85 from a dwelling in Long Hanborough, both between May 1 and June 17. Handed a community order to undertake 60 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

WEZLEY BONE, 20, of Howard Street in Oxford, admitted possession of cocaine on May 10 in Moorhen Walk, Blackbird Leys in Oxford. Fined £85 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs.

ELLIS YOUDS, 21, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage to a cell at Abingdon Police Station on August 11 after throwing food at the walls and ceiling. Ordered to pay £78 compensation.

CALLUM MERRILL, 22, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in public after having a glass bottle in Park End Street, Oxford, on July 27. Sentenced to 26 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months. Also ordered to undertake rehabilitation activity requirements including 150 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.

APARECIDA FERREIRA ROCHA, 55, of Gillett Road in Banbury, admitted assault by beating and criminal damage to a £50 mirror on August 9 in Banbury. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity including 120 hours of unpaid work. Handed a restraining order and must pay £90 victim surcharge.

RICKY KILROY, 36, of Queensway in Didcot, admitted theft of a bicycle worth £500 on May 8 in Didcot, and stealing rib eye steaks and Belgian chocolates worth £127.50 from Marks and Spencer at the BP Service station on May 14 in Abingdon. Sentenced to four weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £627.50 compensation.

LEE LOVERIDGE, 40, of Plover Drive in Greater Leys, Oxford, admitted failing to dispose of controlled waste in accordance with the law. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £266.32 compensation, plus £30 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.

MICHAEL THACKER, 72, of Poplar Grove in Kennington, Oxford, admitted fraud by dishonestly failing to disclose to Vale of White Horse District Council council tax reduction details namely that he had savings of more than of £16,000. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge, plus £635 court costs.

LEANNE ROSE, 26, of no fixed abode, convicted of driving a car without the correct licence or insurance on May 3 in Headley Way in Headington, Oxford. Fined £880 and ordered to pay £66 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

EMANUEL TABALA, 25, of North Street in Banbury, convicted of driving on the A44 in Oxford without the correct insurance, licence or valid test certificate on May 10. Fined £737 and ordered to pay £44 victim surcharge, plus £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

CONNOR BUCKLEY, 23, of Kestrel Way in Bicester, admitted failing to comply with notification requirements as part of a sex offenders register on May 18. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
