A VANDAL has defaced fences, walls and pavements in a graffiti spree across Witney.
Police are trying to track down the vandal or vandals who daubed a large tag in various locations, which appears to say '3Lives' or '3Live8.'

Appealing for help via Facebook today, officers wrote: "We are currently receiving a lot of tags like this appear in and around Madley Park, Cogges and the town centre.
"If you know anything about this or know who is doing this please contact Witney Neighbourhood Team."

Almost a dozen complaints about the graffiti have been logged on the FixMyStreet problem-reporting website, dating back to August 19.
Locations include on fencing next to Madley Park Hall and on a wall next to Gatekeeper estate agent.

Another person said they have seen the tag at the skate park.
Responding to police on the TVP West Oxfordshire page, one Facebook user said: "We need to catch them soon."

Another added: "If you catch them please make them clean it up! Too many things like this get a slap on the wrist and no action."
