It is extremely likely that a person's sexual orientation is decided before they are born, and that no-one would choose to be a paedophile, considering the vicious persecution they suffer.
The fact that I would not touch a child with a barge pole does not make me virtuous.
It makes me fortunate that I am not a paedophile.
The attitude that "it is only other people's sexual behaviour that is vile and despicable, never one's own which is, of course, pure and virtuous", is the pinnacle of hypocrisy.
The truth is that all depravity is equally vile - whether it is normal or abnormal - and is all capable of damaging or ruining lives.
Paedophiles nauseate me, but so do those who breed like vermin.
