TRAINSPOTTERS and photographers were out in force as the historic Flying Scotsman toured Oxfordshire.

The world-famous steam engine left Oxford Parkway just before 1pm yesterday, before travelling through Berkshire and Wiltshire and arriving back in the city at 5.23pm.

Its scenic route offered many opportunities for photos, like this one taken by Oxford Mail Camera Club member, Tony Steele, from Walton Well Road Bridge in Jericho.
