FARMS, libraries, cinemas and other businesses doing good in the community can apply for grants of up to £300,000.
It is part of the 'community business fund' run by Power to Change – a trust supporting businesses in England.
The idea is that bosses of businesses which are delivering a positive impact on their local communities, like Oxford, can apply for cash to help them with a refurbishment, vehicles or staff costs.
They might then be given anything from £50,000 up to £300,000.
Alex Steeland, who is running the programme at Power to Change said:" In previous rounds we have offered grants to cover staff costs and professional fees."
The fund will open on September 11 and businesses will have until October 9 to apply.
Grants will be awarded to the successful groups from January 2020.
