At a time when Oxford City Council has come in for unjust criticism, I would like to redress the balance a little.
I attended the opening of the sheltered homes for the elderly and disabled at George Moore Close, which have undergone major refurbishment.
The accommodation has been fitted out to the highest standard, and is a credit to the city workforce.
The design was sympathetically done, and all the tenants' needs are catered for.
Through the whole process, the council had a team assisting and advising the tenants.
There are too many to thank individually, so I would like to thank everyone involved for giving the people living there a much-improved quality of life.
