BURRITOS bursting with beans, tacos covered in cheese and salsa nachos are the latest tasty treats coming to Oxford.

National chain Tortilla has started work on its new Cornmarket Street branch and is now set to open the doors this October.

Employing some 20 to 30 staff (and hiring now), the restaurant will seat up to 100.

As well as being the first new restaurant to open in Cornmarket in some time, Tortilla will also have an extensive frontage and entrance in the Clarendon Centre.

Oxford Mail:

The company, which has 24 restaurants in London and 14 around the rest of the UK, said it chose Oxford because of its diverse population.

Spokeswoman Megan Burton-Brown said: "Oxford is the perfect city for Tortilla as it brings in all of our core customers: students, office workers, shoppers and tourists, and large student cities are very successful for us."
