ALDI’S Oxfordshire stores are now donating surplus food to two local groups that redistribute supplies to vulnerable people in the area, Oxford Foodbank and Food for Charities.
The new partnerships follow a successful trial between the supermarket and community engagement platform Neighbourly.

Each store is donating perishable items such as fresh fruit and vegetables, long life items and baked goods.
