STAFF who worked at Cooper Callas in Oxford have been invited to a reunion at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.

The new £30m hotel, which opened last month, has been built on the site of the former kitchen and bathroom distributor in Paradise Street.

A hotel spokesman said 25 ex-employees would gather at the hotel on Sunday, from 4pm to 5pm.

A spokeswoman said: “ They were very keen to get together to look at the wonderful work that has transformed the building in which they worked.”

The building went up for sale in 2008 after Cooper Callas moved its head office to a premises at Bicester Distribution Park.

More than 40 staff members at the Bicester base lost their jobs in 2016, after the company went into administration.
