POLICE have released more details about a crash in which a man died after hitting a tree.

Just after midnight on Sunday, he was driving a silver Honda Civic car along Station Road from Bloxham towards Hook Norton, when he crashed.

Thames Valley Police yesterday confirmed the man, who died at the scene, is believed to have been 23 years old and that his family have been informed.

Formal identification will be given when an inquest is opened.

An appeal has been made for any witnesses to come forward, especially those with dash-cam footage.
