A woman was shoved and spat at in the face during an attack in the street.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the assault outside the Oxford House newsagent's, in Oxford Road, Kidlington.
A teenage girl spat in the face of a 47-year-old woman several times then pushed her towards an alleyway beside the Dogwood pub.
Pc Philip Lees said: "The woman was not injured but was left shaken by the incident. I would particularly like to speak to a woman seen pushing a pram near to the newsagent's as I believe she may well have witnessed some of the incident.
"I would also like anyone who was in the area at the time to contact me with any information they may have about what happened."
The attack happened at about 1pm last Wednesday. Police released an appeal for witnesses today.
