Commuters are facing major disruption this morning after a herd of cattle trespassed onto the railway line.

The herd was reportedly hit by a train between Didcot Parkway and Swindon.

As a result there are service disruptions and cancellations, which were thought to clear by 11am. National Rail has since said disruption is expected until 2pm.

Services are currently delayed by 20 minutes after all lines have reopened.
