DECISION-makers at Oxfordshire County Council will discuss Queen Street buses and school transport at a meeting today.
The council's cabinet will meet at County Hall at 2pm.
Items on the agenda include school transport for pupils with special needs, children's services grants, and a homelessness strategy.
As reported last week, the cabinet is also expected to confirm plans for a £4.8m overhaul of children's social care.

A report prepared by council officers ahead of today's meeting states: "In the light of the monitoring of the operation of Queen Street since the reopening of the Westgate, it is not recommended to progress a scheme to remove any more buses.
"The situation in Queen Street should continue to be monitored so that any clear changes in the levels of pedestrian safety are identified and action taken if necessary – the council’s position in relation to the removal of buses can of course be revisited at any time."
