METAL bins in a West Oxfordshire play area are being used for 'target practice' by someone with a pellet gun.
A Thames Valley Police online community alert warned about reports about the land off Kilkenny Lane Country Park in Carterton.
ALSO READ: Road signs 'being used for shooting practice'It said 'more concerning' than the criminal damage was that the pellets could cause 'serious injury' to people, or dogs being walked nearby.
PCSO Richard Conner added: "I would ask dog walkers and users of the play area to call 101 if they come across any persons using a pellet gun."
