TIME is running out to comment on an Abingdon rowing club's plan to build a new clubhouse at its riverside home.

The Army Rowing Club, which is based at Wilsham Road, wants to knock down two existing structures to make space for a new clubroom as well as boat store, which would include toilets and changing rooms.

In a planning application to Vale of White Horse District Council, the club said the two timber structures were 'coming to the end' of their use and the clubroom, in particular, was 'no longer safe to use'.

Parking spaces would also be formalised at the site.
