AZIZ restaurant, in Cowley Road, Oxford, has been named the best curry restaurant in the South-East of England.
The restaurant, owned by Aziz Ur-Rahman, won a top prize at the 2007 British Curry Awards, the biggest event in the curry calendar, at London's Grosvenor House Hotel yesterday.
It was one of ten restaurants from across the UK honoured at the ceremony attended by restaurateurs, MPs and celebrity guests.
