A CARING moment showing assistance dog Quinton and his owner Rosie Pocock has caught the eye of judges of the Kennel Club Dog Photographer of the Year.
The emotive snapshot, pictured in St Giles' in Oxford, by photographer Melissa Bastin has beaten off competition to win third place in the 2019 awards.

But it was the Witney photographer who wowed the judges to bag third place in the assistance dog category.
Pictures were judged on creativity, technical skill and originality.
Ms Bastin has been a professional photographer for three years and specialises in dog, polo, and shoot photography.
Her third place photo will sit alongside all winning images in a gallery at the Kennel club's head office.
