Two friends have set-off on a world record attempt to become the first women to circumnavigate the globe on a tandem bike.
Rachael Marsden, from Oxford, and Catherine Dixon, from London, who are both in their fifties, began their worldwide journey at Beeline Cycles on Cowley Road, Oxford, on Saturday.

Money raised will go to Oxfam and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The pair will carry their own equipment and camp most nights.
