HYBRID car drivers have been warned to be on the look-out for suspicious activity after reports that a number of catalytic converters have been stolen recently.
One Prius driver said their's had been taken while parked in the Waitrose car park in Botley Road on June 21.
READ ALSO: Oxford heatwave: 4th hottest June day ever recordedUpon taking the car to the garage, the owner said that there had been five similar thefts in the same week, and there is now a shortage of parts in Oxford.
Drivers should look out for people fiddling about under their vehicles and report any sightings immediately and be careful of where they are leaving their cars.
