A SCHOOLGIRL has been struck by a car on Cumnor Hill near Oxford, suffering serious injuries.
Emergency services were on the scene near the Chawley Lane junction, where the garages are, following the collision shortly before 4pm.
The ambulance service said the girl is 'approximately 12 years old' and sustained serious arm and leg injuries.

Both Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach reported the road was closed, but Stagecoach has since said that it has reopened.

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed crews received a 999 call at 3.50pm reporting a collision between a car and a girl aged approximately 12-years-old.
He said: "As well as the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, we sent an ambulance and a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle.
"The young girl had sustained serious arm and leg injuries, as well as facial injuries.
"Following initial treatment at the scene she was then taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by road, with the air ambulance crew travelling with her."
