A 'CRYSTAL healer' is to open a new 'complementary therapy centre' offering homeopathy, acupuncture and hypnotherapy near Oxford.

'Holistic therapist' Klair Price has won planning permission to open a new office in the former Old Berks Hunt Kennel on Oxford Road, Kingston Bagpuize.

She told Vale of White Horse District Council she would to give treatments such as acupuncture – 'once a relevant licence has been obtained'.

She also promised 'All therapists will be fully qualified and insured'.

Making her cause to the authority in a planning application she told the planning department: " There are currently no health or clinic facilities of any kind in the village."

Oxford Mail:

She went on: "Therapies offered will include counselling, hypnotherapy, acupuncture (subject to obtaining the relevant licence), massage, homeopathy, aromatherapy, reflexology, sports therapy etc."

Ms Price, who already offers treatments at her home in the village, says on her website that she has 'a particular interest in crystal healing, after seeing so many life and health improvements in my clients, friends and family (and of course in myself!)'

The Old Berkshire Hunt Kennels were refurbished and converted to offices in 1985.

The East Wing offices in question have been empty for more than a year.

Ms Price concluded her planning application by saying: "The therapies provided at the clinic will be available to all members of the community regardless of age, disability or ethnicity."

Kingston Bagpuize Parish Council said it had no objection to the plan and approval was granted on June 12.
