OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

MICHAEL JOHN ROBERTS, 39, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of two counts of assault against two men on March 11 at St Aldate’s, Oxford. Community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 10 days and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

GEAN RONCHI, 45, of Mickle Way, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance as well as using a mobile phone while driving on April 17 at Horspath Driftway, Oxford. He was fined £807 and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Kimberley JAYNE WHITEHEAD, 54, of Medlicott Drive, Abingdon, admitted driving while disqualified and without third party insurance on January 27 at Abingdon Road, Drayton. Fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ELLIOT HULME, 43, of Warwick Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman in Oxford on March 30. Conditionally discharged for 12 months and must pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £380.

MATTHEW WEBB, 37, of Luther Street, admitted vehicle interference and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used on October 12 in Oxford. He also admitted failing to comply with a community order. Jailed for eight weeks and must pay compensation of £100.

WAKAS AMJAD, 25, of Addison Crescent, Oxford, was convicted of speeding by driving 62mph in a 30mph zone on Botley Road, Oxford, on July 5. He was fined £884 and must pay a victim surcharge of £88 and court costs of £200 and his driving licence was endorsed with five penalty points.

ALBERT JAMES DUNN, 70, of The Moors, Kidlington, was convicted of two counts of speeding by driving 38mph in a 30mph zone on Marston Road, Oxford, on September 7, and driving 37mph in a 30mph zone at Britwell Salome on November 12. Fined £260 and must pay court costs of £85 for each offence as well as a victim surcharge £30. Banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and given three penalty points. The disqualification is suspended pending a court appeal.

KAYO PRIGG, 46, of Yarnells Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding by driving 35mph in a 30mph area at Botley Road, Oxford, on September 5, and driving 35mph in a 30mph area at Botley Road, Oxford, on November 22. For each offence she was fined £153 and must pay court costs of £85 as well as one victim surcharge of £30, and her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

ANDREW SHELDON, 68, of Wilkinson Place, Witney, was convicted of speeding by driving 35mph in a 30mph area at Ducklington Lane, Witney, on September 7. He was fined £65 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Andrew COPELAND BROWN, 53, of Henry Taunt Close, Headington, was convicted of stealing meat to the value of £89.35 from Tesco, Oxford, on September 12. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £20.

WALTER KINUTHIA, 31, of Barton Road, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified or insurance in Gladstone Road, Oxford, on May 4. Community order made and he must carry out 150 hours unpaid within the next 12 months. Must pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 28 months.

RICHARD HAMILTON, 33, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Worcester Street, Oxford, on May 17. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

RICHARD HISCOCK, 24, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted burglary with intent to steal at Oxford International College on May 3 and stealing two bottles of vodka worth £45 from Tesco, Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 18 and stealing two bottles of gin worth £44 from Tesco, Cowley Road, Oxford, on April 24. A community order was made and he must have treatment for drug dependency for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £75 compensation.

CENTURION POWER CLEANING LIMITED, of The Causeway, Steventon, admitted attaching a pipe to a water main without the consent of Thames Water, installing a pipe in a way likely to cause the erroneous measurement of water and in a manner that was likely to cause contamination of water in Bellway Homes, Grove, Wantage, on October 30. Fined £750, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £1000.

MIKE SMITH, 57, of Hillsborough Close, Oxford, admitted using a colour television without a licence in Hillsborough Close, Oxford, between November 26 and 28. Fined £40, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £120.

NATASHA WOODLEY, 52, of Birchfield Close, Oxford, admitted using a colour television without a licence in Birchfield Close, Oxford, on January 22. Fined £146, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £120.

ANTHONY PETER MARTIN, 39, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order by having an open can of Stella in a public place at Oxford BP Garage on the A40, Wolvercote, on May 19. Fined £50, must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

SORINEL MIHAI, 50, of Fergusson Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in West Street, Banbury, on May 4. Had 104mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. Ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 44 months.

OLEGS PODALEVICS, 56, of Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Warwick Road, Banbury, on May 5. Had 98mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. A community order was made and he must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

SONIA RAJ, 34, of Bayswater Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in London Road, Headington, on May 20. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

PAUL WILLIAMS, 50, of St Nicholas Park, Oxford, admitted stealing four cans of Jack Daniels and four cans of Gordons Gin worth £17.76 from the Co-op in Banbury Road, Oxford, on April 15. Community order made and he must attend treatment for alcohol dependency for nine months, must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
