IT SEEMS as though Amber Davies isn't quite ready to give up that 9 to 5 life quite yet.

The former Love Island champion, who attended Ysgol Glan Clwyd in St Asaph, will hit the road and reprise her role as Judy Bernly in the Dolly Parton-inspired musical, as it moves from the West End to theatres in eleven cities across the UK and Ireland.

The former leading member of Theatre in the Community (TiC) drama group in Rhyl, Denbigh's Amber will join her cast mate Louise Redknapp for parts of the tour which calls in at Birmingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Glasgow, Woking, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Dublin from September.

In a tweet following the cast reveal, Amber wrote: "I am so happy and excited to announce I will to be touring the UK and Ireland with the 9 to 5 Musical UK!

"I can’t wait to meet everyone and be in these amazing cities later this year."

In addition to taking showcasing her song and dance skills to audiences at the Savoy Theatre since January, 2019 has been a busy year for Amber.

Last month, she was invited to attend the Not Forgotten Association Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace along with mum Susan Davies, and her journey from winning Love Island in 2017 to the West End was documented in an ITVBe documentary Amber & Dolly: 9 to 5.

Tickets are on sale now. For more information on upcoming dates, or to book and catch Amber on the stage visit 9to5themusical.co.uk.
