A 500-MILE fundraiser in memory of one little boy got under way yesterday.

The #TOO500 event is being staged by Hannah and David Cole who set up Thinking of Oscar charity to remember their son.

Oscar Cole died suddenly after an inflammation of the brain which was caused by a virus, on June 19, 2014.

In his memory scores of cyclists took to the streets yesterday to cycle 500 miles between multiple children's hospitals.

Riders include Oxford united legend and former player James Constable.
