THE SAME designers behind London's urban Boxpark are working on something new for Oxford.

ISO spaces, who are responsible for gin-bar pop-ups at festivals and the Shoreditch mall, have released the designs of a new cafe for the city – which will be built entirely inside of an old shipping container.

Before any of the work begins, the plans will need to be given the green-light by Oxford City Council.

But, once they are approved, the idea is the shipping container will be moved into a plot on Market Square in Oxford Business Park and will be turned into a cafe for people who work on the trading estate.

The plans show that the metal block – which is about 20ft tall – will be revamped into a rustic theme with wooden cladding, a grassy roof and a round wooden sign which says 'Oxford Workshop'.
