A MAN was taken to hospital after he was found with stab wounds in Wheatley yesterday afternoon.

Thames Valley Police remained on the scene yesterday evening and have issued an appeal for information on how the man sustained the injuries.
He was found in Station Road at 4pm yesterday, with emergency services called shortly after.
A video shows an air ambulance landing on Wheatley Primary School's playing fields, but an eyewitness said it was not used to transport the man to hospital.
The High Street and Station Road remained closed at 7pm yesterday evening, at which time a police scenewatch was still in place.

The incident happened outside the King & Queen pub, according to the landlord.
The pub briefly shut but reopened shortly before 6.30pm.

South Central Ambulance Service declined to comment, saying it was a 'police incident'.
