A WANTAGE grandmother who was killed after a head-on horror crash on the A338 died from sepsis and multiple organ failure in hospital, a court heard yesterday.
Coroner Darren Salter said that was the conclusion of a pathologist's post mortem report, at a pre-inquest review into the death of Pat Robinson, 70, of Westfield Way. 'Polytrauma' was previously recorded as the cause of death, he added.

Her car had crossed the carriageway and ploughed into Mrs Robinson's vehicle.
