VILLAGERS hope a new phone box defibrillator could one day save a life.
Residents in Great Milton stuck the lifesaving device in the disused telephone box outside the village Post Office.
It was installed with funding from Wheatley-based construction company Greenford.
The defibrillator can be used to increase the chances of survival for someone suffering a cardiac arrest, and can be accessed by anyone regardless of whether they have had training.

We are only too pleased to have provided this life-saving equipment and telephone box for our local community.”
Defibrillators can be used to shock an arrested heart back into rhythm before the arrival of an ambulance and do not require any expertise to use.
Evidence shows that they can triple the chances of survival.
Instructions are visible inside the telephone box.
